This is a memorial created for a very special man who brought sunshine and happiness into everyones
life that knew him and tragically on the sunday night of 28th november 1998 he was shot at outside
of his family home at approx 8pm to this day 10 years ago. Dealer as we all know him,was shot in his
stomach 4 times and had no where to run to escape the gunshots of the assasin but jumped into his
sports car. police and ambulance arrived to help Dee and were discussing cutting him out of his
car,this makes me smile he said 'hell to that your not cutting my car i'll be driving this tomorrow'
he was a very confident man and had a wicked sense of humour. Unfortunately, tomorrow never came and
Dee died 4 hours later in hospital due to massif internal bleeding and damaged organs. This cruel
bitter twisted cold blooded killing has left loads of people heartbroken and still cut up to this
day especially since it was murder and no accident. When Dee got taken away from us he left his
beautiful wife Jackie Gallagher, and 4 beautiful daughters Lesley,Gemma,Amber and MiaStar and mam
Moreen which Moreen already lost her other son prior to Derek so Derek WAS her only child and now
she has no children.. The 2 men from New Brancepeth county durham who did this are behind bars and
hopefully for a longtime to come but THIS IS NOT ENOUGH WE WILL NEVER GET JUSTICE I SAY IT SHOULD
BE A LIFE 4 A LIFE AND BRING BACK THE DEATH PENALTY IN ENGLAND. I miss you loads Dee i always think
